Collaboration for this project extended through every facet of the production. From brainstorming to finishing touches. From scripting to locations. Fiskars was gracious enough to bring us on in the very beginning of this campaign for their iconic orange handled scissors. And trust us through every step of the process. 

After extensive brainstorming, there was one idea that worked its way to the very top. Not because of any complicated concept or forced storytelling. But because of its undeniable authenticity and flexibility across a multitude of formats. Including broadcast & social — video & photography. 

But there was one thing we needed to make it all happen; subjects. So we set out to find a variety of businesses that use the orange handled scissors in all kinds of different ways. Not just your typical costume designer and furniture upholsterer but also a florist, tattoo artist and even a hot rod shop. Finding all of them was a stroke of luck. Which is often the final ingredient in any successful production. 

Capturing these talented craftspeople within their own space was a treat. We modified our techniques to accommodate each unique space. Putting not only the product, but also the subject front and center; spotlighting them like heroes.
