Simply put, when working with children, there is nothing more critical than both patience and casting.

For this project, done for PlayMonster in collaboration with Chris Hynes Creative, we did everything we could to make the children comfortable. This allowed them to organically begin playing with the toys. We let them play and patiently filmed it all. Once comfortable and playful it is much easier to give simple direction to highlight very specific features of the product.

For casting, we were fortunate to shoot video days after photography for the product had been completed. So not only were the most camera-friendly children identified but they were already familiar with the process and happy to return and play.
